**Kitchen Supervisor - Pacini**
Do you have superior leadership skills in the kitchen to guide, direct and oversee operations? We are seeking a skilled individual who can lead a team of line cooks to provide the best in customer service to our guests. Organizational skills and good communication as well as food safety and attention to detail are requirements for this role.
**Requirements of the role**:
- Ensure consistent and smooth running of food production
- Ensure effective stock purchase, it’s receipt and safe storage
- Ensure that working areas are always kept clean to the highest of standards
- Assist kitchen staff as the need arises including the dish team
- Supervise performance of kitchen staff and ensure proper procedures are followed
- Perform other administrative tasks communicated by Chef are completed in a timely manner
- Ensure that the required standards are adhered to in the production and prep of food, with quality, quantity, and safety
- Work towards exceeding guest’s expectations and ensure they are tended to accordingly
- Ensure that the staff meals are set up on time, presented well and freshly made
- Give the appropriate support of guidance to members of kitchen when the need arises
- Resolve possible disputes within the kitchen and report any unresolved concerns to Chef
- Promote a good team spirit and build a strong team
- Ensure the dishes are prepared according to specification from Pacini Head Office and served with the correct quality, portion size and temperature
- Responsible for the preparation of kitchen cleaning roster and the supervision of cleaning schedules
- Assist the Chef in inventory management and ordering products
- Ensure the kitchen staff work harmoniously to ensure timely production of high-quality foods
- Ensure proper arrangement and garnishing of food
- Manage food logs and temperature logs
- Monitor the quality and quantity of food prepared and the sanitation in kitchen
- Assist Chef with recruiting, hiring and training of new team members
- Report any needs for maintenance by filling in the maintenance work order book

- Passion for food: someone who enjoys the process of food preparation and creating menus
- A good sense of business; be efficient and cost-effective in terms of labour management in absence of Chef
- Ability to pay attention to detail, adhere to specific ingredients and measurements necessary for specific menus
- Possess strong management, organizational, and communication skillsets
- Creativity and a willingness to try something new
- Problem solving abilities
- Ability to handle critique from guests
- Any other related duties required to fulfil the role
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $18.00-$19.50 per hour
