Sales Associate- Summer Student

Lead Qualification Representatives (LQR) are responsible for generating and managing all new leads to evaluate the level of qualification for new sales opportunities.
The LQR manages the inbound lead activity qualifying active buying interest and developing opportunity in prospect accounts. An implicit responsibility of the LQR is to conduct business dealings in a way that creates a superior prospect experience that will set the stage for effective sales follow-up, as well as future product sales.
The LQR will also be responsible for managing the database of all the prospects for B2B business. This position will also help BDM with client relationship, qualification of leads and capturing client immediate needs. The LQR will work closely with BD and marketing teams to in creating innovative B2B marketing programs to generate sales and funding prospects for the business. The Account Executive should have strong relationship building skills, a drive to exceed sales targets, and a passion for serving clients.
**Responsibilities**
- Educate, qualify, and develop inbound leads to create sales-ready leads and opportunities
- Research prospects, identify key players, generate interest and develop relationships to stimulate opportunity
- Disseminate opportunities to the appropriate sales team, educating rep as necessary about the opportunity
- Successfully manage and overcome prospect objections
- Become a trusted resource and develop superior relationships with prospects
- Update lead statuses and prospect interaction in MIS to ensure efficient lead management
- Consistently achieve monthly targets
- Provide closed-loop feedback to ensure continuous process optimization and enhance lead generation programs
**Qualifications and Skills required**:
- Be between ages 15 and 30 years of age at the start of employment.
- Have been registered as full-time students in the previous academic year and must intend to return to school on a full-time basis in the next academic year. Preference will be given to those students studying in the Marketing/Business field is preferred
- Be Canadian Citizens, permanent residents, or persons to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act and;
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial/territorial legislation and regulations
- Pre-sales call planning ; Opportunity qualification and objection handling
- Time management, prioritization and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a high-energy sales and marketing team environment; team player
- Positive and energetic phone skills, excellent listening skills, strong writing skills
