The Planning Coordinator is responsible for the planning and coordination of small to large scale facilities projects and green field development for a diverse portfolio of multi-family residential properties throughout Western Canada. The Planning Coordinator help facilitate multiple projects within a fast-paced environment and changing priorities.

**Your contributions to the team include**:

- Coordinate day-to-day aspects of project planning and scope creation
- Facilitate project estimation and bidding with third party vendors
- Facilitate contract documentation
- Facilitate project design requirements with internal and external parties
- Prepare project documentation, organization and communication
- Help facilitate the creation of business cases for new products and design standards
- Facilitate the curation and upkeep of construction design standards
- Use project scheduling to organize and plan projects for handoff to regional project teams for execution
- Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to key stakeholders
- Address questions and concerns throughout the inception to startup of each project
- Organize and distribute all project documents appropriately
- Create planning schedule

**What you need to be successful**:

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Project Planning or Project Coordination role
- Understanding of construction and building systems
- Demonstrated success in project delivery and execution of project management methods
- Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team
- Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
- Effective communication skills including verbal, written and presentation skills
- Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
- Project management or technical certification (CET) preferred
