Our office has been serving the Thornhill community for over 18 years. We pride ourselves on delivering excellent dental care in a relaxed caring environment. We are currently looking to hire a Level II Dental Assistant to join our busy and well-established family practice. As a valued member of our team you will work together with our other dental assistants. You are an enthusiastic team player dedicated to providing excellent care. New graduates are welcome to apply. Salary based on experience.

**Responsibilities**: You will work alongside our other dental assistant to:

- assist the dentist during dental procedures
- prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
- take digital dental x-rays
- take digital impressions using the iTero scanner (training provided)
- take alginate impressions from time to time as required
- educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care

**Skills**:

- proficient in dental assisting techniques and procedures
- experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
- familiarity with digital impressions is an asset
- familiarity with electronic health record systems (Tracker)
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

We offer competitive compensation and benefits. **This is a full-time position with some flexibility with days and hours.**

**Salary**: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
