We are a sales organization who specialize in the sale of innovative and sustainable HVAC Equipment and Systems for Industrial and Commercial construction. Our sales team provides expertise and real value to our customers and their construction projects.
We are seeking a skilled and experienced HR Compensation Specialist to join our dedicated team.
Job Summary: The HR Compensation Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the organization's compensation programs are competitive, fair, and aligned with the company's purpose and values. The focus of this position will be creating detailed job descriptions, creating key performance indicators (KPIs), developing training plans, and conducting base salary comparisons to support effective compensation management and employee development.
**Responsibilities**:
- Collaborate with department heads and managers to review and update detailed job descriptions for various roles within the organization.
- Ensure job descriptions accurately reflect the roles' responsibilities, required skills, qualifications, and reporting relationships.
- Analyze and recommend changes to job titles and job levels as needed.
- Use data-driven insights to make informed recommendations for salary adjustments and bonus structures.
- Work with key stakeholders to develop and implement performance measurement systems and KPIs aligned with the organization's goals.
- Training and supporting employees on the new ADP Workforce Now system
- Design and maintain a performance management framework that links compensation and rewards to individual and team performance.
- Collaborate with the key stakeholders to design and implement training plans that address skill gaps and promote career development opportunities for employees.
- Recommend training and certification programs that align with career paths and contribute to employee growth and job satisfaction.
- Conduct salary benchmarking exercises to compare the organization's base salaries against industry standards and competitors.
- Prepare and present reports to leadership on findings and recommendations to ensure competitive compensation packages.
- Communicate and educate employees on compensation programs, policies, and opportunities for career progression.
**Requirements**:
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of proven experience as a Compensation Specialist or a similar role.
- Experience with ADP payroll processing software is essential.
- In-depth knowledge of compensation practices, and benefit programs
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct market analysis and benchmarking studies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels.
- High level of discretion and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Detail-oriented and well-organized, with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3-6 months
**Salary**: $50.00-$55.00 per hour
