Your role involves a combination of technical expertise, project management, and collaboration with various stakeholders to enhance HR processes and systems. **Responsibilities**:
As an HR Project Specialist with a focus on system administration, documentation, reporting, analytics, compensation, and project management, your role is critical in ensuring the smooth functioning of HR systems and processes. Here is an overview of key responsibilities and tasks associated with your role:
**System Administration and Documentation**:
- Point of Contact for HR System Requests:
- Handle inquiries and requests related to HR systems, seeking to understand business needs and search for solutions with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Configure new functionalities and improvements in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Subject Matter Expert:
- Serve as the go-to person for HR Information System (HRIS) and integrated tools (UKG Pro, UKG Onboarding, HRSoft COMPview).
- Stay informed about the latest offerings in HRIS to enhance the overall experience.
- Guides and Documentation:
- Create and maintain comprehensive guides for HR systems, ensuring they are up-to-date.
- Administration Oversight:
- Work with HR Coordinators to ensure accurate and timely administration of transactions in HRIS and related tools.
**Reporting and Analytics**:
- Report Creation and Editing:
- Utilize UKG Business Intelligence (BI) to develop and edit reports based on business needs.
- Ensure the accuracy and relevance of reports.
- Scheduled Reports:
- Set up and manage scheduled reports to support decision-making processes.
**Compensation**:
- Annual Salary Review Process:
- Contribute to the annual salary review process, including the setup and maintenance of the compensation system, COMPview.
- Coordinate the submission of multiple compensation surveys.
**Project Management**:
- Assist in the submission of the FCP, including NOC matching review, report development, configuration and maintenance of self-ID survey.
- Partner with HR Project Manager on the configuration and rollout of UKG employee self-service
- Ensure compliance with provincial accessibility and pay transparency requirements.
- Lead and manage HR projects tied to annual business plan, as needed.
- Create and maintain HR processes, seeking opportunities for process automation and improvement.
- Collaborate with other internal departments to resolve issues and streamline processes.
Qualifications:

**Qualifications**
- Post -secondary degree in a human resources program, or related field
- CHRL designation (completed or in progress) is considered an asset
- A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years’ recent experience ideally in a human resources generalist function
- Highly proficient in MS Office software (e.g., PowerPoint, Word, Excel)

- Experience leading and/or supporting HR programs and initiatives
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and be well-organized, detail-oriented and results-focused
- Demonstrated ability to distill, analyze and report on a range of HR and business data
- A proven track record of handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Effective written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
