**Job Title**: Planner/Scheduler

**Job Summary**: Our busy custom manufacturing facility is in immediate need of an organized and dedicated Scheduler to join our staff. We schedule and manage hundreds of custom projects at our Cambridge, Ontario location, and we’re hoping to increase our production efficiency and on time delivery by a considerable margin while still providing excellent service to our clients. Most of our projects require numerous operations across our manufacturing departments and contracted services, each requiring prioritization and excellent follow-up to ensure follow-through. If you enjoy fast-paced work and you take a meticulous approach to your tasks, we’re interested in hearing from you. This position requires regular, and professional communication with senior management and internal stakeholders.

**Responsibilities**:

- Create, maintain, and publish a master schedule for the organization
- Identify and troubleshoot conflicts in scheduling, communicating changes and updates at regular intervals
- Evaluate potential projects and provide input to help estimate the potential schedule
- Follow up on projects to ensure they are meeting their planned schedule
- Re-prioritize scheduling to meet the demands of the business
- Provide master schedule updates to senior management and stakeholders
- Coordinate and communicate the schedule with department and functional mangers
- Coordinate machining, fabrication, and outside sourcing.
- Work in rush jobs and resolve scheduling conflicts.
- Create and publish job travelers.

**Qualifications and skills**:

- Excellent creative problem-solving skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously
- High school diploma/GED required. Technical/Manufacturing background preferred.
- Previous scheduling, planning or administrative experience a plus
- Fluent with basic computer programs and processes
- Professional written and verbal manner
- Advanced communication and organizational skills
- Strong ability to handle conflict and manage interpersonal relationships

Physically mobile and capable of moving through the facility to verify product move

**Salary**: $75,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
