Office Book Keeper Administrator

Our company is hiring a Bookkeeping Clerk to handle the processing of financial data. You will be responsible for the organization and analysis of numerical and financial data. Bookkeeping clerk responsibilities include posting transactions, performing reconciliations, calculating payroll and tax deductions, preparing internal control reports and assisting with tax preparation. You will record transactions for all business activities including sales, purchases, cash receipts, payments and other transactions. Strong attention to detail is key in this role as you will enter data into accounting systems, analyze past performance and forecast future results.
**Responsibilities**:
- Keep track of receipts, invoices and payments to identify areas for improvement.
- Reconcile all cash transactions in the organization’s books and analyze the figures to determine whether budgets are relevant.
- Track financial data and create reports to ensure that accounting records are up-to-date.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements (e.g. income statements, balance sheets).
- Make payments and transfer funds according to a budget or as requested.
- Maintain a system for filing books, documents, spreadsheets and other relevant data.
- Assist in audit process by supporting accountants with paperwork.
- Provide information on essential financial metrics such as profit margins, costs per unit and revenue forecasts.
- Identify ways of saving money or ways to earn more.
- Assist in managing the company’s accounts payable and receivable (i.e. credit card payments).
**Salary**: $20.00-$21.00 per hour
