**WHAT WILL YOU DO?**
Reporting to the VP of Sales, the National Account Manager will play a vital role managing our national customer base across the Natural, Convenience & Gas Channel and Food Service Channel - this role is responsible and accountable for delivering excellence in retail planning and flawless execution of the annual merchandising plan to achieve both internal (company) and external (customer) volume, profit, and share.

As the National Account Manager, your primary responsibilities include:

- Leading and delivering against Buddha Brands annual operating plan with key national retailers in the Natural, C&G and Food Service channels
- Managing external brokers and distributors by channel to ensure effective account management and growth.
- Develop and implement account and channel specific Annual sales plans to achieve revenue and distribution goals. Leveraging planning and analysis tools to identify growth opportunities in each customer (distribution, merchandising and promotional effectiveness, speed to market)
- Building and executing promotional plans, and managing trade spend budget within ‘go to market’ guardrails
- Track, analyze and evaluate business performance (broker and own accounts) and provide recommendations to achieve customer and internal targets
- Prepare and present monthly business reviews for assigned account(s) in order to understand performance, risks and identify opportunities for the business.
- Prepare and deliver company presentations and proposals to target retail accounts.
- Conduct regular field visits with broker sales representatives.
- Providing accurate monthly and 90-day forecasts leveraging POS data, sales history/trends, promotional calendars and lift analysis
- Proactively monitoring and updating the customer's overall business plan, including managing trade budgets, spending, and volume to achieve all sales objectives versus plan.
- Working both individually and in conjunction with sales, marketing, and operations teams in finding creative solutions and cost-effective ways to build business

**WE WANT YOU IF YOU HAVE **
- University degree, preferably within a business discipline
- 5 to 7+ years of progressive sales experience within a CPG industry with regional and national retailers
- Relevant experience in the CPG industry and working on Natural and or C&G customers
- Track record of success leading and aligning internal cross functional and external team activities to delivering against stated business plans and objectives
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- A self-starter with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives
- Strong leadership, negotiation skills, presentation skills, analytical skills, project management and time management skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
- Advanced knowledge of working with syndicated data.
- A proven understanding or experience managing P&L drivers
- A passion and interest in helping people live better lives
