Data Analyst

Our **Data Analyst **is primarily responsible for creating and maintaining effective reports in Power BI, Excel, and other reporting tools, as deemed necessary. Additionally, the role involves assisting with the maintenance and enhancement of data warehouse objects in Microsoft Azure.

This person will bring a sharp analytical mind, inclination for problem solving, and strong communication skills to provide meaningful insights that can translate into evidence-based business decisions.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepares reports in Power BI, Power BI Report Builder and other platforms
- Conducts research and meets with internal stakeholders to thoroughly understand business problems and reporting deliverables
- Thinks critically to offer effective solutions/improvements to data collection and report generation processes
- Creates presentations showcasing reporting insights and actionable strategies
- Builds and maintains ETL/ELT pipelines for efficient data processing and integration
- Assists with the development of data warehouse objects in SQL/ Microsoft Azure, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval
- Thinks critically to offer effective solutions to data collection and report generation processes
- Monitors the performance of reports, implements improvements as required, and ensures data integrity
- Performs other duties as required to meet organizational requirements

**Requirements**:

- Proficiency with SQL, Power BI (DAX, Power Query, and Report Builder), and Excel
- Experience with data warehousing, creating/ using data models, and managing databases
- Highly analytical mindset with the ability to prepare reports including descriptive statistics
- Ability to communicate technical requirements and reporting insights effectively
- Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and tools, with hands-on experience in building pipelines
- Proficiency or practical experience with big data solutions for data processing and analysis
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to offer innovative solutions
- Excellent prioritization and time management skills; exceptional attention to detail
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with limited direction
