Job Summary:
At our property, our Laundry Attendant cleans, folds, and maintains hotel laundry to ensure good quality linen is available each day for arrivals. Our facilities are neat and tidy and offer a lovely workspace just across from our lunchroom. You will be working with one or two other people most times and shifts are flexible.

**Duties**:

- Clean, fold, sort, and maintain all hotel linens.
- Operate and monitor the washing and drying machinery, including adding chemicals and cleaning lint traps on dryers.
- Transporting laundry to the sorting room.
- Identify and report stained or damaged laundry.
- Practice safe work habits, read warning labels, and wear protective safety equipment.
- Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report any safety hazards, accidents, or injuries to the supervisor/manager.
- Work well with the housekeeping team to ensure linens are prepared for next-day use.
- Work well with the maintenance team to report any equipment in need of repair.

Qualifications:
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

- Ability to take instruction well.
- Ability to work alone with mínimal supervision or in small groups. Demonstrating self-motivation.
- Ability to foresee issues and deal with them accordingly.
- The Laundry Attendant will need to be physically fit and confidently be able to lift 50lbs and bend occasionally.
- Ability to stand and walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift.
- Must be able to perform repetitive hand and arm movements, twisting frequently, firm, and simple grasping constantly, and overhead reaching occasionally.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $15.50-$15.80 per hour
