- Separate linens according to linen classifications and weights to ensure maximum efficiency of wash loads;
- Load and unload washers and load and unload dryers once cycle is complete into proper receptacles;
- Select appropriate wash and dryer cycle based on linen classification;
- Properly feed linens onto ironer feed table, ensuring that edges are straight;
- Inspect and separate damaged or stained linen from regular linen and store in a separate container;
- Receive linen from the folder, fold, sort and stack onto appropriate cart;
- Sort, fold and count terry items and place on metro-carts;
- Operate steam press, hang uniforms and put through steam tunnel;
- Ensure all linens are counted and recorded properly on production logs and re-set counter when completed;
- Maintain cleanliness of laundry area and equipment by following routine daily cleaning procedures;
- Remove lint from the dryer screens and lint collector on a daily basis;
- Wear proper safety equipment and observe all health and safety rules and guidelines in the operation of the machinery;
- Immediately report any and all malfunctions with the machinery and any and all Health & Safety concerns immediately to the manager
- Complies with Best Western Plus Policies and Procedures;
- Performs other tasks as assigned by management.

**What You’ll Require**
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment;
- Good physical stamina, standing for entire shift, repetitive bending and lifting up to 20 pounds;
- Able to push a laundry bin repetitively which can weigh up to 50 pounds;
- Must be able to learn how to operate machinery, ie: washer, dryer, ironer, steam tunnel, steam press and folder;
- Must be a Team player;

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-24 per week

**Salary**: From $16.95 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Every Weekend
- On call
- Overtime
- Weekend availability
