**Duties**:
- Provide psychological assessment, consultation, treatment (individual and group) and discharge reporting and planning to Youth with Mental Health disorders
- Function as an effective member of an interdisciplinary team in collaboration with community partners (YSB/CHEO/Public Health)
- Liaise and consult with relevant community agencies and service providers
- Participate in academic activities, including teaching and supervision of Psychology residents and practicum students, non-registered Psychology staff as well as medical interns and residents and provide professional consultation to staff from other health related disciplines.
- Participate in program/team and discipline-specific activities
- Carry out research and Program Evaluation activities: including writing peer-reviewed grant proposals: Evaluate and report on intake measures and discharge summary (Pre/Post); in keeping with the Program’s objectives (e.g. Program Development & Outcome Evaluation)
- Demonstrate professional integrity through adherence to college and hospital guidelines for the practice of psychology, including; adherence to the Canadian Code of Ethics for psychologists, adherence to College of Psychologists of Ontario guidelines for registration, professional practice, professional development, supervision, communications and documentation of client contacts, as well as adherence to The Royal’s policies on timely completion of documentation and workload measurement, and policies/procedures in accordance with the Bridges Program
- Work in a manner that is in compliance with staff and patient/client safety practices, policies and procedures of The Royal and YSB
- Ensure a work environment that is conducive to The Royal’s Harassment Free Workplace Policy
**Qualifications**:
- Doctorate from a CPA/APA Accredited Clinical Psychology Program
- Registered or eligible for registration with the College of Psychologists of Ontario is mandatory. Autonomous practice is preferred
- Declared competency in practice with Adolescents (primary); Adults (secondary) in order to provide parent support
- Primary therapeutic orientation is supported by evidence (eg. CBT, DBT, IPT, EFT, etc.)
- Experience in both individual and group treatment with Youth and parent support
- Knowledge of psychiatric rehabilitation principles and practices
- Program development, and program evaluation experience essential
- Excellent leadership and communication skills and ability to establish and maintain good working relations
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within the context of an inter-disciplinary team
- Commitment to Continuous Quality Improvement, Evidence Based Practice, and Team Work
- Effective mentoring and clinical supervision skills to support both the academic role and the clinical practice of other team members at the Royal
- Bilingual (English/French) is mandatory. English level A- is mandatory in oral expression, oral comprehension, reading comprehension and written expression. French level A- is mandatory in oral expression and oral comprehension
**Salary Range**:
- $55.62 to $70.89 per hour**Additional Information**
