Working within an ISO 17025 laboratory environment, the Section Coordinator will:
**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage the day-to-day production environment across the Inorganics division in a safe and efficient manner
- Direct, coordinate and train personnel in conducting and optimizing test procedures
- Manage the inorganic chemistry lab and ensure coverage for analyses to meet turn around time (TAT) for analyses.
- Develop, evaluate, improve, customize and implement standard analytical methods as they pertain to Inorganic testing
- Coordinate weekend and off-hour production shifts as required to meet the needs of our clients
- Trouble-shoot and optimize methods and equipment for increased efficiency and quality
- Oversee method audits and method validations
- Ensure that calibration and maintenance are properly done.
- Collaborate with Lab Directors, QAQC Director and other colleagues as required
**Qualifications and Experience**:
- Demonstrated knowledge and hands-on experience in the area of Inorganic testing
- Ability to work in a fast-paced laboratory setting
- Knowledge of ISO 17025 and ability to adhere to a strict Quality Control Program
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize under pressure of completing deadlines
- Ability to lead and direct staff to achieve company goals and objectives
- Excellent computer skills
- Energetic and hard-working
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Mentor and manage staff to ensure a positive team environment
- Coordinate weekend and off-hour production shifts as required to meet the needs of our clients

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
