Job Description: Structural Technician Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail - oriented Structural Technician to join our team

As a Structural Technician, you will play a critical role in restoring vehicles to their pre-accident condition by repairing or replacing damaged structural components. You will work closely with estimators, painters, and other technicians to ensure safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities: - Structural Repairs: Assess, repair, or replace damaged structural components, including frames, unibody structures, and other integral parts of the vehicle. - Diagnostics and Measurements: Use computerized frame straightening and measuring systems to accurately restore vehicles to manufacturer specifications. - Welding and Fabrication: Perform precision welding and cutting tasks to repair or reconstruct damaged sections. - Disassembly and Reassembly: Carefully disassemble and reassemble vehicle components to ensure proper alignment and fit. - Collision Damage Assessments: Collaborate with estimators to identify structural damage and recommend repair plans. - Safety Compliance: Follow industry safety standards, manufacturer guidelines, and company protocols to ensure quality and safe repairs. - Documentation: Maintain detailed records of repairs, including measurements, adjustments, and materials used. - Tool and Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all tools, equipment, and machinery are properly maintained and calibrated.Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent (technical training or certification preferred). - Proven experience as a Structural Technician in an auto body collision environment. - Proficiency in frame straightening equipment, welding techniques, and measuring systems. - Knowledge of vehicle construction, structural materials, and repair methods. - Certification in I-CAR (preferred but not required). - Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship. - Ability to read and interpret repair orders, technical manuals, and manufacturer guidelines. - Physical ability to lift heavy parts, work in various positions, and perform repetitive motions.
