We are seeking **Systems Administrator Student**for our **Canadian Industrial Division** to work in our **Edmonton, AB** office**.**We are looking for students that are available**for **8 months**starting in** May, 2025.**The positions will be under the direct supervisor of a **System Coordinator**. The student will be exposed to the practical side of computer technology including tier one and tier two front line customer service.

This position is located at our district office in Edmonton, AB. **Remote work is not available.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Assisting with configuration and deployment of network equipment (switches, routers, VPN).
- Creating requisitions for IT equipment and replacing office hardware.
- Setting up new hire system accesses and equipment.
- Logging and responding to technology related issues and requests.
- Troubleshooting technical issues with users.
- Creating process documentation.
- Assisting in a variety of other customer service & systems related tasks as required.

**Qualifications**:
What you will bring to the role:
- Pursuing a degree or diploma in a related study.
- Proficient knowledge of computers (Microsoft office basic hardware support).
- Strong problem-solving skills with an appreciation for detail and accuracy.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service.
- Ability to evaluate and integrate technology as it relates to the needs of the business.
- Ability to read basic network drawings.
- Basic hardware and networking skills.
