Overview:
Lafarge is hiring an
**Apprentice Formwork Carpenter** for our Vancouver infrastructure operations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Construction, specializing in Heavy Civil Vertical Formwork
- Infrastructure Projects within the Greater Vancouver Regional District
- Determine specifications and calculate formwork material requirements
- Prepare layouts / assist in Field Surveying
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble wood materials
- Operate power tools (cutting/grinding, etc.)

Qualifications:
**Education**:

- None required, grade 12 preferred

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.):

- Apprentice Carpenter
- Consideration for Application to become a Red Seal Certified Formwork Carpenter an asset, but not required

Other:

- Basic English is required.
- Must have ability to travel to multiple worksite locations, own vehicle is preferred due to the location of some of the worksites
