We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter/Formwork Expert to join our construction team. As a Carpenter/Formwork Expert, you will be responsible for constructing, setting up, and dismantling formwork used in various concrete construction projects. Your expertise and attention to detail will play a crucial role in ensuring the success and quality of our construction endeavors.

**Responsibilities**:

- Formwork Construction: Build and set up formwork according to project plans, ensuring precision and accuracy in measurements to facilitate the pouring of concrete.
- Concrete Pouring Support: Collaborate with concrete workers to ensure smooth and timely pouring of concrete into the formwork.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct inspections of the formwork to ensure it adheres to industry standards and specifications before concrete placement.
- Formwork Stripping: Safely dismantle and remove formwork after the concrete has cured, minimizing any potential damage to the structure.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.

**Requirements**:

- Proven Experience: Minimum of [3] years of experience as a Carpenter, with a focus on formwork construction for concrete projects.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in carpentry techniques, formwork assembly, and working with various construction materials.
- Physical Endurance: Capable of performing physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials and working in various weather conditions.
- Safety Conscious: A strong commitment to adhering to safety regulations and promoting a safe work environment.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail to ensure precise measurements and formwork construction.
- Team Player: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented construction environment.

**Salary**: $30.00-$35.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- North Vancouver, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
