**Position Summary**:
Reporting to the Executive Assistant of the CEO & COO, the Social Media Specialist will be in charge of our social media accounts. This is a wide ranging position requiring someone who is goal oriented, creative, understands marketing and current social media trends, and isn’t afraid to put themselves out there.

A fundamental part of this role will be to elevate our social media presence, plan and execute both long and short term objectives, be available to check and reply to DMs at odd hours, engage with influencers and convince them to assist us in accomplishing our goals.

Being up to speed on social media trends and having a keen marketing sense, an eye for design, and an understanding of eCommerce will be great assets in this role.

You'll be working alongside a dynamic team of talented and collaborative thinkers who thrive in a fast-paced environment with a high level of autonomy.
- Actively post high quality and engaging content to our social media pages. (TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Blog)
- Source, develop, and post new and relevant content.
- Develop and lead social media campaigns.
- Increase account engagement by interacting with influencers and affiliates.
- Manage affiliate relationships.
- Monitor KPIs and set up mechanisms to measure campaign effectiveness.
- Research and implement relevant tools.
- Suggest new features to build brand awareness.
- Liaise with the marketing team to make sure social is aligned with marketing.

**Qualifications**:

- 2+ years experience in digital marketing or social media.
- Exceptional English verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent grasp of social media and website metrics.
- An eye for design.
- Photoshop and/or graphic design experience is an asset
- Self-starter that takes initiative, makes decisions, and provides clear direction to internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to identify and adapt to changing business needs.
- A hunger and motivation to drive meaningful growth.
- Solutions-oriented mindset and eagerness to identify and tackle new business challenges with urgency.
- An understanding of current social media trends and marketing
- Flexibility to work outside regular business hours to respond to DMs as necessary.

**Compensation**:

- Salary: $50,000 annually.
