**Job Type: Quality Control Manager**
**Location**: League office choice of Lloydminster, Alberta; Brooks, Alberta; Coronation, Alberta.
**Position Summary**:
We are hiring an experienced Quality Control Manager with a background in Pipeline and Facility Construction. As the Quality Control Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring project quality standards are met while working collaboratively with operations staff. You will be responsible for the management of the League Quality Management System on the project.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Professional liaison with clients
- Supervise and mentor multiple supporting QC Inspectors providing direction for priorities based on schedule requirements
- Understand contract & specification requirements for all quality activities
- Set up and lead all quality processes to achieve project requirements
- Set up and lead or perform inspections to comply with approved ITP's and code requirements
- Implement the quality management system and develop Project Quality Plan
- Develop, implement, interpret Inspection Test Plans
- Welding visual inspections
- Detailed technical inspections for welding; b-pressure & structural, coating, and additional disciplines
- Hydro test tracking and coordination
- Welding NDE tracking program and data entry
- Complete non-conformance report and implements dispositions
- Conduct internal and Subcontractor surveillance and audits in accordance with the published audit schedule. Present audit findings to management during management reviews
- Develop and maintain audit schedules and PQR’s
- Report required metrics for the project
- Other duties as required
- Development of welding procedure specifications
- Maintain the CWB records
- Review project specifications
- Review bids to ensure adequate quality resources for each project also specification detail review
- Provide training for quality control inspectors and company personnel, including maintaining the training records
- Maintaining and revision of the registered manuals

**Skills and Knowledge Required**:

- CWB Level 2 or 3
- Membership with ASET would be an asset
- Proven ability to manage quality procedures and processes
- Ability to identify process improvements
- Proven attention to detail
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Professionalism

**Experience Required**:

- Minimum 10 years related experience in Pipeline construction projects, Integrity Digs, and Facility Construction
- Minimum 5 years management experience
- Ability and experience leading a team
- Strong knowledge in industry Acts, Regulations and Codes
- Strong client relationship building skillset
