Wild Mountain, a popular restaurant in Sooke, BC, is currently seeking a part-time dishwasher for evening shifts with some simple prep cook tasks involved. We are a positive and supportive workplace that values teamwork, and we share tips equally between the front of house and back of house. As a result, the tips for this position are higher than in most other BC restaurants.

The position would be for evening shifts 2 days a week. Another dishwasher works the other 2 days, since we are only open 4 days a week. Some weeks you might be asked to cover the other employees shifts and they may cover your shifts so you both can take time off.

**Responsibilities**:

- Wash dishes, glassware, and flatware in a timely and efficient manner
- Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area
- Assist with basic food prep tasks as needed
- Follow health and safety standards for food handling and sanitation
- Help with any other tasks assigned by the kitchen manager or head chef

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and take direction from the kitchen team
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 15-25 per week

**Salary**: From $16.75 per hour
