Cafe Vosino is Sooke's first cooperatively owned cafe Formerly known as The Stick In The Mud, the community banded together to keep it from closing in 2023, and now we are fully community owned We pride ourselves in high quality coffee drinks, house made baked goods and sandwiches, and a company culture that promotes positivity and personal growth. We're open 7 days a week from 7am to 3pm, and will be staying open until 5pm starting in July.

**Position Overview**:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our kitchen team as a part-time Prep/Line Cook. Previous experience is required. We believe in fostering a positive work environment where everyone can learn and grow together. **Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and portion ingredients for menu items following recipes and standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, including food prep areas and equipment.
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation to ensure freshness.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure efficient and smooth food service.
- Contribute to a positive and friendly atmosphere for both customers and fellow staff.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines.

**Shifts**:
Morning to afternoon shifts are available, providing flexibility for a work-life balance.
