Position Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Scheduling:
- Assist project managers in developing and maintaining project plans and schedules- Utilize project management tools and techniques to create and update project schedules, resource plans, and critical path analyses- Identify potential schedule conflicts, resource constraints, and risks, and propose mitigation strategies

Cost Control and Budgeting:
- Monitor project costs and expenditures against approved budgets- Prepare and analyze project cost reports, forecasts, and variance analyses- Identify potential cost overruns and recommend corrective actions to project managers- Assist in the preparation of project budgets and cost estimates

Progress Monitoring and Reporting:
- Track and monitor project progress against established plans, schedules, and milestones- Collect and analyze project data, including performance metrics, risks, and issues- Prepare regular project status reports, highlighting key performance indicators, risks, and issues

Change Control and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including plans, schedules, reports, and project artifacts.- Ensure compliance with project management methodologies, standards, and best practices.

Stakeholder Communication:
- Facilitate effective communication between project teams, stakeholders, and external parties.- Coordinate and participate in project meetings, presentations, and reviews.- Maintain open lines of communication and provide timely and accurate project information to stakeholders.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering) or equivalent experience- Proven experience in project control, scheduling, and cost management- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Jira, Clarity, Planview, Excel)- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.- Project management certification (e.g., PMP, CAPM) is preferred.

407 ETR's Information Technology division is responsible for the infrastructure and software to enable the efficient operation of the highway-including toll capture, account management, financials, and data storage/analytics-as well as customer services including call-center, web, IVR and supporting workflows.

Delivery is accomplished using an Agile-Scrum approach, including self-organization, short iterations, strong collaboration, and dedicated teams in scrum rooms.

Highway 407 ETR is an all-electronic open-access toll highway located in the Greater Toronto Area in Ontario, Canada. The highway spans 108 kilometres from Burlington in the west to Pickering in the east.
