**Position Description**:

We are currently looking for a highly-skilled, caring, and safety-focused individual for our Buttcon Central Team. Reporting to the Quality Control Manager, the Quality Control Coordinator, ensures that the construction projects meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements. This role involves closely monitoring and inspecting construction processes, materials, and finished products to identify and any deviations from specifications. The Quality Control Coordinator collaborates with project managers, site superintendents, subcontractors, and other team members to maintain a high level of quality throughout the construction process.

**Responsibility**:
**Inspection & Testing**:

- Assist the Quality Control Manager in creating job specific Quality Control plans with the assistance of the project team.
- Conduct regular inspections of construction sites to verify compliance with project plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards.
- Test and evaluate construction materials (concrete, steel, asphalt) to ensure they meet quality standards before use.

**Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate and organized records of inspections, test results, and quality-related documents.
- Prepare detailed reports outlining findings, deviations, and recommended corrective actions.
- Collaborate with project teams to create and update quality control documentation, including inspection checklists and testing procedures.
- Review of RFI’s and change orders related to quality control and as requested by the project team, to ensure industry standards are met.

**Defect Identification & Resolution**:

- Identify and document defects, deviations, and non-conformities during inspections.
- Monitor and verify the effectiveness of corrective actions taken to ensure issues are resolved satisfactorily.

**Process Improvement**:

- Analyze data from inspections and tests to identify trends and patterns related to quality.
- Recommend process improvements and modifications to prevent recurring issues and enhance overall quality performance
- Collaborate with project teams to incorporate best practices and lessons learned into future projects.

**Training & Compliance**:

- Provide guidance and training to construction teams on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
- Stay current with industry regulations, codes, and standards to ensure compliance and advise on necessary adjustments.

**Communication**:

- Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders regarding quality concerns and improvements.
- Participate in meetings to discuss quality-related matters, progress, and potential challenges.
