**Position Status**: Regular, Part-time (0.8 FTE)

EFW Radiology is currently seeking a **Receptionist** to join our team and contribute to our mission of providing exceptional patient care

**The Role**:
EFW Receptionists are responsible for completing the patient registration process efficiently and effectively providing an exceptional patient experience to all patients entering an EFW site.

**Reporting to**:Clinic Support Supervisor

**Role Overview**:

- Warmly greets patients and visitors, creating a positive first impression.
- Monitors patient waiting room dynamics, ensuring timely communication about wait times and relevant information.
- Adheres to privacy policies, safeguarding personal and health information.
- Efficiently completes patient registration, recording accurate personal details.
- Maintains patient records in the RIS system.
- Responds professionally to patient inquiries in person or over the phone.
- Schedules follow-up appointments as needed.
- Coordinates workflow for technical staff.
- Retrieves patient records.
- Manages clinic equipment and supplies.
- Undertakes additional duties as assigned.

**You have the following**:

- Completion of Medical Office Assistant Diploma Program preferred.
- Previous healthcare environment experience is an asset.
- Compassionate patient care and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent communication and listening skills.
- Motivated self-starter, both independent and team-oriented.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Accurate work in a busy reception setting.
- Good judgment under various circumstances.
- Effective time management.
- Attention to detail in an open waiting room.
- Quickly learn and use computer programs.
