Job Summary & Reporting Structure:

- Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Electrical Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing and documenting all necessary maintenance and repairs for all production equipment and facilities, ensuring that plant and processing equipment is in safe and good working order. In addition, they will assist in the resolution of equipment problems and the installation of new equipment. They will be responsible for, adhering to the policies and procedures outlined in the ISO9001:2015 AND IATF16949 Quality System and practicing continuous improvement wherever possible.

**Responsibilities**:

- Comply with all company health and safety regulations ensuring a safe work environment at all times and reporting accidents, incidents and known or potential hazards immediately
- Promote continuous improvement in all areas of Maintenance.
- Support TPM system use (Megamation)
- Mechanical aptitude
- Interpret the Canadian Electrical Safety Code to the satisfaction of the inspection department for all construction.
- Daily perform and document scheduled maintenance as outlined on Maintenance Request logs; ensure safety issues are handled in timely manner.
- Support as a member of the team the installation of new equipment
- Perform and document minor modifications and repairs to customer tooling.
- Basic knowledge in PLC programming (Allen Bradley) and HMI
- Technical experience/knowledge of robots (Fanuc) is an asset
- Trouble shoot equipment to identify electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic or electronic problems.
- Installation of feeds for new equipment.
- Able to work unsupervised as well as with a team
- Work rotating shift schedule (days and afternoon shift)
- Able to support extended hours as required
- Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
**Education Required**

High School Diploma

Licensed 442 A or 433A or working towards license

**Skills Required**:
Demonstrated working knowledge with hand tools, applicable software (PLCs)

**Equivalent Experience**

Minimum 5 years' experience in an industrial maintenance role.
