As a Sanitation Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in our food manufacturing facility. You will play a crucial role in preventing contamination and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. This is a hands-on position that requires attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a safe and hygienic work environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Clean and sanitize equipment, production areas, and facilities according to established procedures.
- Disassemble and reassemble machinery for thorough cleaning.
- Use cleaning chemicals and sanitizers safely and appropriately.
- Dispose of waste and trash in accordance with company policies and regulations.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify and address sanitation issues.
- Assist with pest control measures as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Complete sanitation records and documentation accurately.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in sanitation in a food manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures, chemicals, and equipment.
- Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs. and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Flexibility to work weekends as needed.
