Propagation Technician

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Perform all daily requirements for producing quality, healthy, and rooted clones
- Generate clones as per schedule set forward by the Master Grower
- Keep daily records of all activity performed on each batch responsible for within Mother Room and Vegetative Room
- Maintain and manage all mother stock plants
- Perform transplanting as per schedule set forward by the Master Grower, and all associated tasks
- Always maintain a clean and sanitized grow room/s and tools used in procedures
- Monitor plant health and identify problems/concerns as they arise and communicate to the Propagation Lead & Master Grower
- Understand and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), batch production records, etc. while following Good Production Practices (GPP)
- Determine irrigation frequency & duration based on observation of plant health
- Monitor for pests and diseases, providing reports to Propagation Lead/ Master Grower
- Uphold high level of communication with Propagation Lead
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications and Expectations**:

- Solid team player who promotes a culture of professionalism, integrity, quality and teamwork
- Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Grade 12 or GED
- Horticulture education and/or experience considered an asset
- Driver’s license or reliable form of transportation
- Respirator fit testing & use

**Work Conditions**
- Monday to Friday, 8 hour shifts during the day
- Scheduled weekends as per team rotation
- Overtime as needed
- Physically demanding, repetitive, and strenuous work
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs without assistance
- Respirator use when required

Pay: $18.50-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
