**ABOUT THE SASKATCHEWAN INSTITUTE OF AGROLOGISTS**
The Saskatchewan Institute of Agrologists (SIA) regulates the profession of agrology in Saskatchewan to protect the public by ensuring safe, competent and ethical practice. The Institute registers Professional Agrologists and Technical Agrologists in Saskatchewan. Only agrologists registered with the Institute are legally entitled to practise agrology in the Province of Saskatchewan.
**JOB OBJECTIVE**
**Position Type**: Full-time (37.5 hours/week)
**Schedule**: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
**Location**: In-office only (no hybrid work arrangements)
**Travel**: Some travel within Saskatchewan may be required
**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**
- Answer phones and assist walk-in agrologists and guests
- Handle incoming mail and outgoing correspondence
- Filing
- Order office supplies
- Assist in managing the database
- Process and reconcile daily financial transactions
- Coordinate and attend in-person and online meetings
- Provide executive and clerical support to the Executive Director & Registrar as needed
- Provide administrative support to Council and Committees as needed
- Coordinate logistics for Council and Committee in-person or virtual meetings

- Take ownership of tasks and work independently
- Identify opportunities to enhance service and efficiency
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Adaptable and thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment
- Excellent organizational skills to coordinate multiple programs and projects
- Advanced skills with MS Office and Adobe products
- Ability to learn proprietary software
**Education and Experience**
- Business diploma or equivalent
- Two (2) years in an administrative role an asset
**Other Requirements**
- Pass a criminal background check
- Have a valid driver’s licence
- Able to travel outside of typical work hours
