**Job Description**:
What you can expect in a typical day
- We have an exciting opportunity for an Inside Sales Representative to engage with our residential customers and provide an excellent consumer experience. The key priority for this role is to acquire new Residential accounts through in-coming calls from account prospects. You will engage with prospective customers to understand their needs and where we can provide value. This individual will also work with other departments to assist in the resolution of issues or requests while taking ownership of the consumer experience.- What we offer:

- Your roles and responsibilities:
- Strong working knowledge of liquid-petroleum products (i.e., heating oil, and propane)
- The ability to close new accounts on the phone
- Understanding the execution of sales opportunities, including new account acquisition and value adds.
- Generating sales leads that develop into new customers.
- Manage incoming calls and engage the prospective customers to better understand their current, product and service needs
- Support service and delivery teams by ensuring any commitments to customers is within the team’s ability to execute in a timely and efficient manner
- Facilitating credit approval, set up, and activation
- Able to maintain a positive, empathetic and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
- Generating sales leads that develop into new customers.
- Develop understanding of all our products to provide the best solution for our customer needs.
- Ensure accuracy when requests are logged, resolved and escalated where appropriate.
- Professional skills- Excellent customer service skills.
- Proven ability to multi-task.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and be a reliable team player.
- Able to make decisions and support team members.
- Must possess strong communication skills with ability to quickly build rapport and maintain relationships.
- Travel- Travel is not a requirement for this position.
- Education and experience- High School with Post-secondary education preferred.
- 1-3 years’ experience in sales/marketing and customer service required. Experience in a call center environment preferred
