We are seeking a detail-oriented **Receiving Clerk** to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the receipt, verification, and storage of goods within our facility. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate inventory records, inspecting deliveries, matching shipments against purchase orders, and ensuring an efficient workflow across operations.

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
**- Inspect and verify goods by carefully checking shipments for damage, discrepancies, and accuracy against purchase orders or invoices
- Record and update detailed records of received goods, including quantities, descriptions, and dates
- Manage inventory by ensuring proper storage and organization of received goods, using computer systems to track inventory levels
- Communicate with vendors, suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to address issues or discrepancies
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring the receiving area is tidy and safe for operations
- Operate forklifts and other lifting equipment to move, load, unload, and position materials, pallets, and products safely and efficiently.
- Perform routine maintenance on forklifts and lifting equipment, including lubrication, battery charging, fuel refills, and pre-use inspections.
- Assist other departments and perform additional duties as assigned

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
- High school diploma or equivalent with **2-3 years of relevant experience**; or
- 1-2 years of relevant experience with post-secondary education or a related certification/license
- **Strong organizational skills** - Ability to maintain order and track multiple shipments and inventory items
- **Attention to detail** - Keen eye for identifying discrepancies or damage in shipments
- **Basic math skills** - Capable of performing calculations for inventory tracking and quantity verification
- **Computer literacy** - Familiarity with inventory management systems and accurate data entry
- **Effective communication** - Able to communicate clearly with vendors, suppliers, and team members
- **Physical stamina** - Comfortable lifting and moving objects as needed and working in a fast-paced environment
