Forecasting and Procurement Analyst

Reporting to the Demand Planning Manager, you will be responsible for producing various reports, analyzing data, identifying opportunities for improvement and making recommendations to guide the company's strategic decisions.

Here's an overview of your tasks:

- Apply, adjust, and validate models as well as forecasting and demand analysis methods (sales, promotions, lost sales, forecast errors, etc.)
- Identify products that should be purchased through safety stock by analyzing new or low volume sales web activity
- Prepare various Fill Rate reports identifying opportunities for improvement and finding the causes related to deviations
- Propose and analyze purchasing parameters to increase the service rate
- Support and participate in supply chain committee meetings
- Determine inter-depot regulation to align supply with demand
- Update the monthly excess inventory report as well as average life estimates and seasonality curves by product group

**WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR**:

- BAC in administration, GOP, logistics or equivalent
- Must be an expert in Excel
- Knowledge of database management (an asset)
- Analytical skills, mathematical mind and attention to detail
- Excellent priority management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborate and communicate effectively
- Critical thinking and judgment
