The art of negotiation and procurement: you've got it down We are looking for a bold mind like yours to join our purchasing team at Soucy. As part of our essential team, you will be responsible for identifying strategic suppliers and managing relationships, ensuring the quality and continuity of our supplies. This position will allow you to help shape the future of Soucy by leading innovative initiatives and playing a crucial role in the growth and success of our company.
In this position, you will have the opportunity to :
- Analyze and procure raw materials and subcontracted items from our suppliers and other Soucy Group subsidiaries.
- Ensure that supplies are prioritized according to customer requirements.
- Monitor the progress of the production plan on a daily basis.
- Collaborate with engineering on the procurement of materials for track molding and components under development.
- Implement procurement strategies to provide optimal visibility to our suppliers in order to secure production for 0-24 months.
- Manage non-conformities with suppliers in collaboration with our quality team.
- Ensure optimal inventory levels are maintained based on the production plan and sales forecasts to ensure material availability while minimizing costs and surpluses.

With the following skills and qualities, you'll be successful in this role:
- College or university degree in administration or equivalent training in supply chain management or operations management.
- Relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of planning and procurement in a manufacturing system.
- Leadership skills, commitment, and customer focus.
- Organized, independent, analytical, and proactive.
- Ability to work well under pressure
