**ABOUT THE JOB**

**Responsibilities**

The main responsibilities include:

- Organizing and managing samples
- Preparing COC’s for samples and sending to lab and other facility for sensory and raw ingredient checks
- Daily plant tour and identify and issues related to quality or food safety
- issue work orders if needed
- Water pH testing
- Verifying CCP’s and CFIA paperwork
- Gluten free product testing
- Product releases
- Update HOLD log
- Thermometer calibration
- Allergen testing
- Tasting of products for quality checks on daily basis.
- Other QA related misc. tasks

**What you will bring along**
- Excellent communication skills (both written and oral)
- 1 year plus experience as a QA technician is preferred
- College diploma/University degree in Food Science/Microbiology/Food Safety or related discipline

Hours will be starting from 8 or 8.30am to 4:30 to 5pm. Occasionally from 7-7:30 am. Flexibility is required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $41,000.00-$43,000.00 per year
