**Overview**
- We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented QA Technician to join our team. This role plays a key part in maintaining food quality and safety, with a focus on sanitation verification and microbiological control.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Monitor and maintain all aspects of the Enhanced Food Safety Program and documentation
- Conduct regular plant floor inspections to ensure compliance with food safety procedures
- Perform on-site verification of records and report deviations to management
- Verify sanitation effectiveness and escalate any cleaning issues or microbial risks
- Audit and implement corrective actions for food safety issues or deviations
- Inspect incoming materials for compliance with company specifications and food safety criteria
- Investigate customer complaints and support implementation of corrective actions
- Deliver ongoing food safety training and coaching; escalate performance issues as needed
- Verify the HACCP plan and prerequisite programs, including microbiological control points
- Conduct scheduled microbiological swabbing (e.g., equipment, drains) and interpret results
- Participate in GMP and facility audits to ensure regulatory and internal compliance
- Assist with performance evaluations in coordination with the department manager
- Ensure standards for food safety, cleanliness, organization, and product quality are met
- Prepare regular food safety and microbiology reports for management
- Promote a safe work environment and ensure all staff follow safety policies
- Conduct and log pre-shift and post-shift GMP inspections
- Calibrate QA/testing equipment and regularly verify sanitizer concentrations
- Perform additional QA/QC tasks as assigned by the QA Manager

**Qualifications**
- Diploma or degree in Food Safety, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field preferred
- Minimum 1 year of QA or food safety experience, preferably with microbiological testing
- Strong organizational, coordination, and time management skills
- Fluent in both English and Chinese
- Available to work weekend shifts as required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week
