**NowPac Inc.** is a leading contract packaging company specializing in customized end-to-end solutions for the Food, Drug, CPG and OTC industry. We have an opening for a Quality Technician position for the afternoon shift at our Scarborough location. This is a full-time position that reports directly to the Quality Assurance Manager.

The **Quality Assurance Technician** Afternoon Shift position responsibilities include:

- Provide Line Clearance approval and in-process checks for production
- Ensure production adhere to good manufacturing practice and local procedures all the time
- Print, review and release labels to production
- Assist with quality investigations (deviations, CAPAs, etc.)
- Conduct QA incoming inspections for packaging components
- Standard Operating Procedures (create, revise, review)
- Manage current data base and work within company policy and procedures for Product Returns, Product Complaints, Product Disposition and Investigations
- Additional QA tasks assigned as required

The successful applicant(s) would ideally have the following qualifications
- Preferably completion of Bachelor of Science or Engineering
- Understanding of quality processing for product reviews and release
- Good working knowledge of GMP/cGMP and Quality System to ensure compliance with regulations
- Ability to multi-task and coordinate project activities
- Has initiative and willingness to adapt to fast-pasted environment
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work well within a team
- Working knowledge of computer literacy
