In case you're curious, here's what the industry thinks of us and some cool things we have done.

**You as a Intermediate Civil Estimator**:
Analyze contract documents (drawings, specifications, contract deliverables, etc.) to prepare self perform cost estimates of projects for earthworks (site development, road building, detail excavation).
Assemble accurate, timely and well-organized estimates, including hard-bid, construction management and design-build.
Prepare quantity take offs.
Organize sub-contractor quotes when the bid is successful, re-writing binders and assisting the buy-out process.
Set-up new cost estimates in bidding software.
Develop schedule for accuracy and determine production rates.
Contact subcontractors and vendors for specific divisions to get external pricing.
Monitor the success of a project, noting potential challenges and building relationships with sub-trades for future opportunities.
Identify potential project risks.
Attend pretender meetings & site visits, where applicable.
Work with proposal & operations teams in writing execution methodology, safety plans, Indigenous Engagement Strategies, and quality documentation.
Present Estimate to management for Review.

Is this the right role for you?

Project Management and Field Experience is an asset
1+ years of civil construction experience is an asset
Any Industrial experience is an asset
Familiarity with B2W suite and asset
3+ years of estimating experience.
Self-motivated, energetic, and reliable with a positive disposition
Good communicator with attention to detail and good documentation skills.
