**You as an Underground Estimator**:

- Analyze contract documents (drawings, specifications, contract deliverables, etc.) to prepare self perform cost estimates of projects for underground water, sewer and utility installation
- Assemble accurate, timely and well-organized estimates, including hard-bid, construction management and design-build
- Prepare quantity take offs
- Organize sub-contractor quotes when the bid is successful, re-writing binders and assisting the buy-out process
- Set-up new cost estimates in bidding software
- Develop schedule for accuracy and determine production rates
- Contact subcontractors and vendors for specific divisions to get external pricing
- Monitor the success of a project, noting potential challenges and building relationships with sub-trades for future opportunities
- Identify potential project risks
- Attend pretender meetings & site visits, where applicable
- Work with proposal & operations teams in writing execution methodology, safety plans, Indigenous Engagement Strategies, and quality documentation
- Present Estimate to management for Review

**Is this the right role for you?**
- 2+ years experience Estimating underground utilities is required
- Familiarity with B2W suite and asset
- Self-motivated, energetic and reliable with positive disposition
- Good communicator with attention to detail and good documentation skills
