We are currently seeking an **Assistant Controller** with dealership experience, to join our team of customer focused professionals within our high volume and process-driven dealership.
**Purpose/Summary of Position**:
The Assistant Controller is responsible to execute the day-to-day A/P and A/R activities for our growing group of dealerships. Are you an experienced dealership Assistant Controller? - Have experience in the accounting field
- Are proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel)
- Have a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
**Responsibilities**:
- Responsible for all inter company expenses/payments
- Processing day-to-day accounts payable transactions to ensure that corporate finances are maintained in an effective and accurate manner
- Receiving and verifying invoices and requisitions
- Processing of invoices according to standard operating procedures, ensuring payments are supported according to established payment policies
- Reconciling statements
- Process AP and AR
- Assist in monthly financial reports
- Processing expense reports
- Other duties as assigned by the Group Controller
**Qualifications**:
- CPA or working towards CPA
- ** Automotive/Dealership Experience is required**:
- Experience with AP/AR
- Ability to meet deadlines in a timely manner
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Organizational ability and attention to detail
- Strong attention to detail
