**Jobs and responsibilities**:
- Dining services for residents and guests during the meal - times.
- Cleaning of all the operation areas including disinfecting the common area, high touchpoints, and residential rooms
- Assist with the handling, labeling, and storage of the food.
- Extra cleaning duties as required.
- Lending a helping hand in the main kitchen and deliver food supplies.
- Working with kitchen equipment, washing and storing dishes, and repairing/replacing any damaged kitchen equipment.
- Follow IGGH, ministry long term care, Infection control regulations policies and procedures
- Maintaining the workplace clean and tidy at all times.
- Assist with infection control, quality assurance, legal and workplace requirements.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
**Requirements**:
- Must have a valid food handler’s certificate (required)
- Previous food service experience required.
- Must be active and physically fit to perform all the duties.
- Well -versed with proper handling techniques.
- Must know how to work around various appliances like cooking equipment, dishwasher, etc.
- Proof of full 2 dose vaccination with last dose more than 14 days prior to start.
- Proof of Valid VSS (Vulnerable Sector Screening) or an enhanced screening/criminal background check.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
**Salary**: $15.76-$25.29 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
