**Responsibilities**:
- Carryout relevant, comprehensive, and timely Project Control activities relating to the full slate of projects being undertaken at any given time by Transportation Division staff.- Serve as the focal point for all matters relating to work planning and project controls including: scheduling, budget control including BST reporting, negative variance mitigation and resource planning.- Work with project management staff and business unit leaders focused on identifying adverse schedule and budget variances and recommended corrective actions.- In consultation with business unit leaders and Project Management staff, keep up to date on all aspects of project schedules, budgets, and deliverables in order to assist in the monthly Work Planning Committee meetings.- Work with business unit leaders, Project Management staff and others to identify any deviations from agreed upon scope and required changes to official project budget.- In consultation with BU leaders, develop and implement a system for Documentation Control and SharePoint set-up for major project initiatives.- Through effective schedule monitoring, budget control and workforce planning, support the activities of the department in maximizing staff utilization and positive variances, while ensuring completion of work to the client’s full satisfaction.

Qualifications:
- Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Financials, Accounting or a related field
- Note: Applicable experience may be substituted for the degree requirement- A minimum of 2 years of direct project controls experience utilizing project management principals.- Previous experience in engineering consulting or construction is a strong asset.- Proficient in Microsoft Suite including PowerPoint, Project Online, Project for the Web, PowerBI, Power Automate, MS Teams and MS SharePoint.- Advanced proficiency in Excel (including creation of Pivot tables) and PowerBI (creation of data sets) and QuickBase (SQL tables).- Prior experience managing project schedules and costs through scheduling software like MS Project, Primavera and QuickBase is an asset- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
