We are looking for an experienced educator, to join our team.
Our mission at Maple Roots Out of School Care is “To provide meaningful, engaged and inspired service for children in the hours before and after school to support their growth and development.”
**Maple Roots operates six locations in the southwest Calgary neighborhoods of Haysboro, Glamorgan, Glenbrook, Glendale, West Springs and Aspen Woods.**
**This is a full time that is located in a school in the community of Glendale. The hours would be 7am - 9am/12pm - 6pm.**
We have a collaborative approach in our intentional and engaged work with children. We want a team player that brings their passions, as well as use their abilities to hear what children want to experience and initiate that in planning and leadership within the team and Maple Roots.
Skills we are looking for; thoughtful engagement with children, families and community; have own vehicle to complete off site tasks/meetings/other supports; skilled in documentation, comprehensive computer literacy, ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment, able to understand, execute and meet the expectations of licensing, and a passion for working as an educator
Upon hire you will need to complete a Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search and your Standard First Aid/CPR certification.
Pay: $20.00-$21.00 per hour
