Childcare Supervisor / Worker(childcare supervisor certificate and/or childcare worker)
- Plan both long and short range activities in accordance with curriculum objectives and program philosophy.
- Meet the emotional, social, physical and cognitive needs of each child
- Encourage assistants to contribute to curriculum planning
- Coordinate field trips, Prepare monthly plan charts
- Complete bi-annual assessment of children's development
- Report progress of children to parents bi-annual reports and through parent-teacher conferences Maintain daily open communication with parents
- Maintain confidentiality for children reports, records and files
- Arrange classroom environment in accordance to program goals and philosophy
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment
- Supervise assistants and aides volunteers in the classroom
- maintain all appropriate records such as records, attendance and time sheets.
- Meet all applicable childcare licensing & regulations
- Pick up & drop off children at school on time
- Other duties and responsibilities are required
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual
Part-time hours: 40 per week
**Salary**: $16.00-$19.00 per hour
