**Job Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Kennel Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the care and well-being of animals in our facility. You will work closely with pets and their owners, ensuring a safe and clean environment while providing excellent customer service. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about animal care and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

MONDAY - FRIDAY - 3:00 to 6:00 PM ONLY NO FLEXIBILITY

POSSIBLE- relief shifts as needed

**Duties**
- Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, grooming, and exercising pets.
- Maintain cleanliness of kennels, play areas, and common spaces to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to management.
- Assist with customer service duties, including greeting pet owners and answering questions about services.
- Handle heavy lifting when moving supplies or assisting with larger animals.
- Follow all safety protocols to ensure the well-being of both animals and staff.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in animal care or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners and address their needs.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required in the daily care of animals.
- A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their welfare is essential.
