**_The opportunity_**

Reporting to the Manager Accounting, the incumbent will join a dynamic team and will be primarily responsible for monthly and quarterly analysis, reports and reconciliations. The analyst will also contribute on the preparation of the quarterly forecasts and yearly budget files and analysis.

Located at the Head Office in Montreal, the General accounting department manages all the day-to-day accounting operations (payables and general ledger) and reporting of the head office.

**_ The role_**
- Preparation of the monthly and quarterly SG&A Corporate analysis
- Preparation of monthly and quarterly reports and tasks related to Fixed Assets
- Review, prepare and validate the monthly prepaid accounts reconciliation and analysis and quarterly reports
- Preparation of files and analysis for the quarterly forecast process
- Preparation of files and analysis for the yearly budget process
- Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Preparation of the quarterly financial reporting package analysis for some accounts
- Preparation of various journal entries
- Preparation of Statistics Canada reports
- Other adhoc requests

**_ What you bring to the role_**

**Knowledge & Expertise**
- College degree in accounting or a related field
- Motivated professional with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft 365)
- Experience with the use of financial reporting and ERP systems, data queries, and reporting tools (knowledge of Hyperion Financial Planning and JDE is an asset)
