Mission, Canada Sure Can Contracting Janitorial Services Full time

SCC is currently hiring a Commercial Cleaner position for various locations in the Fraser Valley.

We are looking to fill the shifts below as well as additional tasks each week.

Current shifts are as follows:

- Sunday night 7 hrs
- Monday Night 8 hrs
- Wednesday Night 8 hrs
- Friday Night 4 hrs

Payday is twice a month and paid at a set salary.

Training is provided, janitorial experience is valued but not required.

Team members are provided with a shared work vehicle to commute between jobs. The weekly work schedule is fixed so that your personal life and/ or other jobs can be planned.

Members are given key tasks and deadlines as well as the freedom of making decisions and executing them. By combining freedom, creativity, and structure, our goal is to be focused and on point, thus making each day feel more accomplished and fulfilled.

The co-manager scope of work may include but is not limited to:

- Scheduling and coordinating (logistics)
- Implementing check sheets and equipment maintenance
- Progress reports
- Interviewing and hiring
- Training newly hired team members

The scheduled service tech. scope of work may include but is not limited to:

- Driving a van
- Alarm and security systems (arming/ disarming, locking up, signing in and signing out)
- Flat dust mop (sweeping) and wet mopping
- Wiping mirrors, high contact surfaces, counter tops, sinks and the outside of toilet and urinal basins
- Scrubbing walls and partitions (monthly)
- Removing stickers, tape and scuff marks with a scraper blade
- Floor wax stripping and waxing
- Completing regularly scheduled check sheets
- Cleaning and tidying work vehicles

The following is required:

- Living in the Fraser Valley
- Criminal Record check ($50 and refunded after the first month)
- Able to commute to the company vehicle in Mission
- Able to drive a work van (driver’s abstract is required)
- Able to work with others in a team environment
- Physically able to bend, crouch, kneel, walk on slippery floors, and able to lift up to 40 lbs
- Capable at times to work alone and accomplish tasks unsupervised
- Able to work night shifts
- Able to work Sunday and Friday nights
- Strict personal ambition about following COVID-19 Protocols
- Regular at completing scheduled maintenance check sheets

6 month probationary period.

COVID-19 considerations:
Vehicle is disinfected after each shift. Hand sanitizer and wipes are provided at most high traffic contact areas.
