Research and Innovation provides support for all Nova Scotia Health (NSH) researchers and employees across Nova Scotia. Although much of research takes place in Central Zone, Research & Innovation facilitates research projects across the province.

Nova Scotia Health provides sustainable safe and high-quality health services that are accessible, people-centred, promote health and wellness and optimize the health of all Nova Scotians. This is accomplished across four geographic management zones which are responsible for the operation of acute care health centres and the provision of a variety of inpatient, outpatient services including academic, tertiary, quaternary care and community-based programs and services including continuing care, primary health care, public health, and mental health and addictions.

**About The Position**:
**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a health sciences or social sciences discipline (e.g., psychology, epidemiology, community/public health) required
- Minimum of two years research experience required
- Familiarity with qualitative analysis software package NVivo an asset
- Familiarly with reference manager program (Zotero) an asset
- Familiarity with health research
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Effective interpersonal, communication and teaching skills
- Demonstrated time management and organizational skills
- Effective research and analytical thinking skills
- Strong negotiation, conflict resolution and rapport-building skills
- Ability to work well independently as well as within a multidisciplinary team environment
- Demonstrates understanding of own role and responsibilities.
- Prioritizes own work and workload.
- Balances competing work demands to maintain personal health.

This position has a hybrid work model with opportunity of working from home and onsite as required.

**Salary Information**:
$27.62 hourly - $34.53 hourly

$53,868 annually - $67,335 annually
