**Position Overview**

As a Quality Control Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining product quality, consistency, and compliance with specifications. You will perform field and plant testing, monitor concrete performance, and support the production team in achieving top-quality results.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Perform slump, air content, temperature, and unit weight tests on fresh concrete.
- Collect and prepare concrete samples for compressive strength testing.
- Monitor concrete quality during production and delivery.
- Calibrate and maintain QC/testing equipment.
- Verify mix designs and ensure correct batching procedures are followed.
- Record and report test results accurately and in a timely manner.
- Communicate with drivers, batch plant operators, and customers regarding concrete performance.
- Assist with troubleshooting mix or material issues as they arise.
- Ensure all testing and reporting follow CSA and company standards.

**Qualifications**
- Experience in ready-mix concrete or construction materials testing (preferred).
- ACI or CSA certification is an asset (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong understanding of concrete properties and testing methods.
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs as required.

**Schedule & Compensation**
- Full-time, Monday to Saturday as required.
- Competitive hourly wage or salary (based on experience).
- Overtime available when required.
