Kings Christian Collegiate is an independent high school located in North Oakville.

We pride ourselves on high quality Christian education during the day as well as high-quality rental facility during the evenings and weekends.

We are looking for someone to join our maintenance team, this is a full-time position to continue our high standards of maintenance / repair.

We are seeking an individual with excellent communication skills, verbal and written, great attention to detail, excellent time management, and effective problem-solving skills.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prioritize between daily maintenance, assigned workorders and special projects
- Perform standard maintenance and repair on building equipment including but not limit to, plumping, electrical (light) systems, drywall, painting, locksmith, carpentry
- Perform daily, weekly, monthly inspection of full campus equipment, furnishing and grounds
- Understanding of HVAC system
- maintain our janitorial equipment
- maintain our field equipment
- Maintain winter maintenance of sidewalks
- Perform regular maintenance of artificial turf and associated grounds
- Keep workshop organized and tidy

**Job Requirements**
- Minimum of 3 years building maintenance / handyman
- Thorough knowledge of Health and Safety
- Team player with the adaptability and willingness to grow, and aptitude for continuous learning
- The ability to be proactive, take initiative and troubleshoot problems
- Familiarity with hand and power tools
- Able to work with minimum of supervision
- Working knowledge of basic computer software
- Flexible working hours

**Compensation includes**
- **hourly pay**
