The Role**:Building Maintenance Technician**

Location: Oakville, Ontario

Position Type: Permanent, Full-time

Hours: Monday - Friday, 6:30AM - 3:00PM, with occasional overtime

**Primary Responsibilities**:
The position will involve the following tasks:

- Inspect buildings, equipment, and systems to identify any issues
- Manage and repair HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical Systems
- Plan and schedule complicated repairs and services with third party contractors
- General Maintenance - landscaping, painting, carpentry, preventative maintenance of tow motors, scissor lift, boom lifts, etc.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance procedures
- Assist in budget planning and implementation for the Maintenance Department
- Maintain inventory records for equipment and supplies
- Available to work overtime (weekends, public holidays, evenings) as needed

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Must have 442A or 309A electrical licence
- High School Diploma or equivalent qualification
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Advanced understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques
- Must have experience using a computer and an iPad
- Capable of performing physical labour to include carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50 lbs
- Able to climb ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 50 feet

**Preferred Skills**:

- Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology, or relevant field

**Personal Skills**:

- Must be well-organized and have the ability to prioritize tasks
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Must be team-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
